Okay if you have seen my posts today, you can tell I had a riot of a day yesterday at work! LOL! Well, we decided as nurses on the floor, under my suggestion, we would have a 'word of the day' to use instead of using a bad word to discribe something..or frankly, a cuss word...LOL
So yesterday we chose the word "dynamic".
It was hillarous...I swear all I heard all day was dynamic! LOL, even the docs started doing this! Pretty soon the two floors (med/surge and ortho and tele) were doing it! LOL!!!!!
"Oh man this patient is asking for me to do everything for them including open and hold their menu...DYNAMIC!" or "if that DYNAMIC person does calm down I am going to go ape DYNAMIC on them!"...LOL! Or "this person and situation is absolutely DYNAMIC!" It was soooooooo funny!
Has anyone else done this or implemented something similar for those rather DYNAMIC days? LOL!

Yes, we always use the latest coporate catchphrase...you know, like when something that's usually simple goes horribly wrong, you can see several people saying, "Now THAT's CQI!" or whatever the catchphrase du jour is.

I think that's awesome. :)
I like to use the phrase "good night".
But a word of the day is a much, much better idea.
I LOVE IT! There are so many catchphrases de jour at my hospital...will grab Tuesdays one and use that for my Tuesday word! LOL!!!!!!!!
