Wolford CRNA Fall 2017

Nursing Students SRNA

Just wanted to start a thread for anyone applying to Wolford's CRNA program October 2017. Any completed applications? Interviews? I visited the site and was pretty impressed. My application is on the way.

I live in Athens Ga

How about you ?

I live in Clearwater, FL. We love the northeastern part of GA, we usually pass by on our way up there. Have you been looking at housing? I'm married, 2 kids so I'll only be down there for part of the week but still need a place to stay. Lori have me a link to get on the Wolford forum but I haven't seen anyone post anything about it. I'm excited to get started!

My interview is next month. I'll be in the same boat in terms of housing. I live in the Tampa Bay area. I had considered the 4-5 hour daily commute but that may not be the best idea...

I thought about it too. My friends that have graduated did various things. One couch surfed, one found a cheap motel and split the cost with a person from the same area and another nailed down a room. Then I thought....can I make the drive every day? Sounds a bit crazy, lol. I don't know. Good luck on your interview. Bring your winning personality and you'll be fine ;)

i am going to send in my application in the next couple of days. I would to hear about the interview process. Is it laid back? More clinical than personal questions or vice-versa? I have worked 3 years toward getting into CRNA school after I transferred from a L&D unit where I worked for 12 years. THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO DO MORE THAN ANYTHING!

Laid back. They're super nice, very engaging. Are you ready to go back to school? Why You? Why Wolford? They might pick out some weaknesses on your app and ask you about them. How will you afford it? What kind of support system do you have? I've been out of school for 9 years and they focused on that. All in all, it was way more chill than my other interviews.

I GOT IN!!!

@CCUnurse18, the interview was very comfortable. They asked the same questions @tiffanycoulter82 mentioned. Including, Why are you interested in anesthesia? Describe your typical day in your ICU. What types of patients? What is your greatest weakness/strength? Hopefully you will join us in October. There were only 5 other applicants with me on interview day. Maybe there are still openings. Good luck!

Congratulations!!!!! :)))

Congrats! Way to go!

All of you guys had CCRN certification at the time you guys have applied?
