Wolford college CRNA Spring 2018

Published

Anyone attending wolford college spring 2018 class?

You might as well say what you heard instead of indirectly bashing a program on a public forum, using words like last resort and horrified. I just started the program a few weeks ago it seems fine so far

I've recently spoken with several students; again, I advise attending Keiser as a last resort. I was pretty horrified at the things they told me.

Do you like your program? Would you recommend it? Is it in Florida? I really wish you'd share lol I want to get into a good Florida program and would love insight

This is great news. Hope to hear more feedback from you because I am interested

I'm not going to go into the details as it's their story to tell and not mine. Hopefully things get better.

The only legitimate thing I've heard is how they accepted too many patients in the past, like 50 something. My class is 25 students including me and they said they now accept 30-35 students. My class is smaller because they gave very short notices pending the visit by the COA. The COA decides how many students a program can accept. I content and set up of a program also has to be approved by the COA and Wolford never had issues with that by the COA and I trust the COA.

So far the professors are nice and very knowledgeable.

With only three schools in Sofla Keiser might be an option for me. A means to an end.. not a last resort. Not willing to be in constant limbo with schools when I have a fair chance of getting in sooner and completing faster. Now with regional accreditation from keiser it should be pretty seamless transfer to a dnap comletion program. Housing situations?

Awesome, I'm glad to hear that things are looking better. It's probably because these students were caught in the awkward phase of the transition from Wolford --> Keiser and that's why a lot of their issues occurred. I hope everything has smoothed out now!

So why are you even saying anything if you aren't going to shed some light or tell us what it is you heard? How is that helping readers at all? And why not share the program you're in if it's so great? Don't you think that'll be helpful. Are you here to help or...? Not trying to start anything. I'm just curious.

Same here and I agree! Keiser even has their own DNAP completion program. Idk bout housing but I'm pretty sure getting an apartment nearby with a roommate wouldn't be bad.

All the ****-talk is from people who are NOT in the program. It's a great school. Very student-oriented. It's been around for a long time and has graduated around 1000 CRNAs. The snobbery in this community is amazing, and indicative of the greater problem in the nursing profession. What are Keiser's admission requirements? The same as everyone else's. What are their graduation requirements? The same as everyone else's. Not part of their program? **** and let everyone do their thing. Check back with me in two years when I have "CRNA" after my name and we'll talk. Peace.

Can anyone share what didatic schedule is like? 5 days a week? Will be making a trip to the school soon to check it out and ask more questions.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. 6.5 hours each day.
