Good Luck!!!!
Good luck with your interviews :icon_hug:
Something they usually ask is why you want to be a nurse. But from what you've told us on your previous posts, you shouldn't have any trouble convincing them you're an ideal candidate because of all the voluntary work and advocacy you do.
I'm sure you'll do just fine, let us know how it goes :)
Though id do a bit of updating as you know i had my interview on the 18th May . Went brilliently and came out happy and hopefully i get a place. There were 3 other candidates all of which had come from abroad to hopefully study nursing.
Had my occupational health screening and been told to get my Heb b jabs done in preparation for course never been topld do that before lol.
I hear between 27-29 may
ill let ya know how goes when letter comes through
Thanx everyone

Anglia ruskin university..... terrible place to study how do i know!!?? ive been here over 2 years now. last 4 months before i finish and become RNLD.
i know loads of student nurses and they all say the same! unorganised, ibl facilitators you'll be lucky to find a decent one, lectures you'll spend half the time waiting for them! a third of your time wondering where they are and the other third wondering why your there!
Nobody knows wots happening, you are never infomed about anything until the last minute if at all.
you are told its further education, treated like adults its all your responsibility until it suits the university then its all taken back and your treated like children!!
apart from all this i love the place! well i love being a student, just dont like the essays!
New Update,
WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I got into ARU received an Unconditional offer to start in october 2006 Im dead excited. It took two days to sink in as thought it was a dream :roll .
I am starting my jabs and what have you within the next week everyone in family are thrilled for me,
thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes
Lou
Hi blackhawke
Thanks for the tip chuckles I have heard of this from friends I know who are studying nursing at ARU.
Bad at informing students and always unorganised this seems to be a common problem at aru, but it hasnt put me off as it is local enough for me thats the main thing.

you wait til the end of the 3rd year you have nowt to do for months then all of a sudden you have 3 essays n a presentation to do!!! i'm not trying to put you off or owt. i dunno if they do that on purpose just to see how you handle the stress!!! but i dont do stress n i've got a dam site more grey hairs than i did in the begginning of the 3rd year!!lol
