Wilson College - Online LPN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Updated:   Published

Hello fellow nurses,

I'm starting a thread for Wilson College LPN to RN program, I heard it's new but was wondering if anyone is currently enrolled in the program or tentative to start soon?

Lets keep this thread going!!

I applied for January 2025 also. I've talked to an admissions rep and submitted all my transcripts. I took my TEAS yesterday and just got my score...I passed based on the score they require. I'm debating between this school and Excelsior.

My main concern is clinicals. I work full-time Monday thru Friday 8 to 4:30. I know I'll have to go in a few different times for clinicals, but I'm wondering if anyone has completed the program and can shed some light on how the clinicals actually work?

Also, one final concern I have is the Admissions rep told me that she has occasionally seen a class that requires logging in for a live lecture at a certain time...she said it doesn't happen often and it is only a class or two that she's ever seen it, but when I told her I wouldn't be able to do that if it's during my workday, she kinda changed the subject and didn't really talk about that again.

So just wondering if anyone who's actually in the program or has completed it can shed some light for us on if you had to attend live lectures at certain times and also clinicals!

If anyone revisits this thread I joined the Spring 2027 cohort. The school is okay so far. The Anatomy is very in-depth and detailed and requires a lot of studying and time dedicated to learning the material. I start A&P 2 next and I am already reading the material to get a head start. Tuition super affordable. Classes are all online. Just finished my first semester with the school and I don't have any major concerns with it thus far.

I got accepted with my LPN license, TEAS test (not sure of minimum requirements), and previous transcripts. They do give you 18 credits to start off which is good if you already have previous college credits. Canvas is user friendly. Overall if you stay disciplined and apply yourself it is pretty straightforward. I passed everything this semester while working two jobs and having a child. Was very difficult but doable and I will be letting go of my second place to focus on school.  I will update after Spring semester.

I also am interested in applying here.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated it sounds like a good program.

Hello Everyone,

I am currently looking for LPN to RN or LPN to BSN programs. I have came across Wilson college, Allegany College of MD and Excelsior. My sciences are more than 10 yrs old. Allegany doesn't have a time limit, Do you anyone know if Wilson college have a time limit. Did anyone have their old sciences accepted?

I wish I knew someone in the program to give a little insight

Hello I just got accepted at Wilson College is anyone planning on attending? Or anyone attended their nursing program?

Congratulations I also want to apply but have no info about the program. What have you heard about the program.

Well I haven't spoken to anyone that attended the nursing program.  I just been dealing with the student Rep.

Oh OK...can you fill me in on how long it will take (if they told you) when you have the majority of the classes already?

Yes. I do have most of my classes but I will keep you updated

Wonderful thank you so much
