I Am A Prenursing Student And Very Excited About My Future Career As A Crna. But Sometimes I Worry That By The Time I Do Bsn, 1 Yr Icu, And Crna School There Will Be No Jobs Left Or Not As In Demand. Does Anybody No What The Job Outlook For This Career Is?

like all parts of healthcare, it's cyclicle. nurses are always in demand, whether they be rns or crnas, now in a particular city that may not be the case but nationally it usually is.

The AANA's numbers show that the age of both the general population and our providers (CRNAs) is growing. The number of grads is not growing as fast, so there'll always be a shortage.
Get in the profession if you are willing to put 100% of yourself into it.

I think this is a fear of most people when the choose a career.. ie.. are there jobs out there for me? I remember in 1985 graduating from nursing school and there was full fledged nursing glut and jobs were very hard to find. Find them I did, b/c I choose places that few were interested. So, when you graduate, and if there's a shortage (i find it hard to believe), open yourself up to other options and places and you'll find a good job.
