Will a reckless driving ticket prevent me from getting my New Jersey license?

Published

Hi all!! I've recently graduated LPN school 11/10!:yeah:I sent in my app to take the boards and recently went to do my fingerprinting earlier this month. In August of 2010, I received tickets for speeding and reckless driving. No arrest or court appearance. I've had no prior criminal history and this was an isolated incident. My driving was a bad judgement call on my part being as though someone could've been hurt or worse  :crying2: People have told me the New Jersey Board of Nursing will automatically disqualify me when they run my background check since reckless driving is a misdemeanor. I've been losing so much sleep :uhoh3:. When applying for my license, I didnt check any of the boxes that asked if I had a criminal history or whatever they ask (because I wasnt aware that I had one), so will I also get in trouble for that?! Please any advice is helpful because I have no money to consult a lawyer. Has anyone else ever been in this situation? What was the outcome?

I hate to have spent so much on my education to have it all go up in smoke....

Thanks a lot for any responses! :heartbeat
