Will I need Calculus as a Prerequisite for CRNA?

Published

Hi, I'm a high school student in the final semester of my senior year. I'm very new to this, and I aspire to hopefully achieve becoming a CRNA in the future.

I've done some research regarding prerequisites, typically the usual biology and chemistry. The majority seem to say Calculus is not needed and Statistics is more preferred. The reason I ask is because this week is critical for students to change their class schedules, and I do not want to be "stuck" studying calculus when it is not required, considering that I am also balancing out other classes. I've finished Pre-calculus last semester, and I plan on taking a statistics course if possible in University, so should I just drop my calculus course this semester?
