Here' s the story.., I am almost four years working now in my present organization, I was just a staff nurse before, until I was assigned as a Nursing Education Coordinator, for almost 3 years and 4 months I handled that task that I work alone in a 150 bed capacity that time, which you don't know where you will start,..especially for a new organization that has no firm policies and procedures. only my experiences as Clinical Instructor and a nurse in my place of origin makes me knowledgeably for what I am initiating to them because I really love teaching and doing orientation with new nurses. The hospital extend our facilities and many of new hired nurses are coming. Until the head before in our department (Nursing) asked some nurses from the newly hired nurses, if they are interested to join in Nursing Education, because that time, the organization was starting to go in the process of accreditation, one internationally known agency. Everything was so perfect , because I have now a colleagues that will share more ideas and to develop more programs to our staff nurses. But things turned to worst, because I have to follow-up them also, problem arises, Iam the one to be questioned and answered for them,.. until I get tired from those things,.. I leaved as Nursing Education Coordinator,.. I leave the department, I transferred to other department, same organization, but this time, Insurance Dep't. Everybody was surprised, from a doctors, nurses, management to a simple housekeeper, why I transferred to other dep't.. Now, I am working in Insurance for 7 months now, and I decided to do exit in this organization, this coming May 2009. But this afternoon, I received a phone call from the Secretary to meet the new Asst. Nursing Officer, and she offer me to comeback again to Nursing Dep't., but this time as a Clinical Resource Nurse.... will I accept the offer?.. pls help.. Thank you.

Well, how do you feel about it? Sounds like a good opportunity if this is what you want. You seem to be getting a well rounded career just by working in this one ogranization. Good luck with coming to your decision. Make certain that you do what you truly feel will make you happier in the long run.

I would discuss with her the reasons you left the dept in the first place. If nothing has changed, and you only have the same old problems again, you will be truly miserable. Only you can make the decision, but make your concerns clear before you decide one way or the other.
