Hello all!
I wanted to get opinions of others regarding juggling both grad school and juggling a newborn/baby. I start my 21 month PMHNP program at the end of august but hubby and I are planning on TTC the beginning of August. We have been married for nearly 5 years but together for 10 years and do not want to keep putting off having a baby. We have a great support system and plenty of family who will assist us with childcare. I just wonder if I will be doable working part time (16-24 hours a week), while also trying to take care of a newborn and attending NP school. If we do conceive in early August, my due date would bearound May which also happens to be the first term I start clinicals. My program goes by 10 week quarters/terms, not semesters.

I don’t have an answer, but wondering what program you are doing that is 21 months? Is it all online? I am looking for the right fit PMHNP program. I am liking the ones that have 7-8 week classes taking 1 at a time, but can’t seem to get an answer on the length of the programs.
