Will a DNI associates degree be eligible for rn to BSN bridge programs? Such as WGU? Is it accredited?

Hey, guys so I'm done with all my pre-reqs and am currently studying for the Teas/Hesi. My question is since I'm considering going to DNI for their associate's degree program because getting into my community colleges would be super competitive and my GPA isn't all that I feel my chance of getting into this school is better. However, when I went to get a tour of the school I found out that they are accredited by ABHES and WASC. I know ABHES is for technical schools but I can't really find out any info on WASC. My original plan was to get my ADN there with DNI and then apply to bridge program at Western Governs University () since they are very affordable and it could be done online. At DNI the total cost of the associates would be 34,000 (because I have all the pre-reqs from a community college) and then the bridge program at WGU would be another 4,000 so the total cost would be $38,000 by the time I have my BSN.

But my concern is if my DNI credits would EVEN transfer to WGU? Or any other university with such a program. Has anyone done this before? OR anyone knows of anyone who transferred all their credits to a bridge program FROM DNI?

WASC is a regional accreditation body (Western Association of Schools and Colleges). The only thing missing is CCNE or ACEN accreditation, which is desirable for nursing programs. Most bridge programs are more concerned with you having that RN, but you could contact and ask.

AS far as transferring , you better talk to about that. I recommend to try to get into a CCNE accredited university for your ASN. I don't think they always go by grades, but maybe that is old school thinking. They used to try to have a diversified class. Some were over 50, some under 20 and they took average students, not gifted ones all the time. But, I am sure things have changed. Meet with some of those guidance counselors at school and see what they can help you with. Good luck on your future endeavors.

I just read some very shady reviews for this school. I would use extreme caution. And not being accredited by the CCNE or ACEN is a HUGE red flag. There are states that won't even license RNs that dont get their education from an accredited school.

Even if this your only option for getting into a nursing program at this time I would highly recommend doing some research on this school and looking elsewhere.
