Will a dismissed misdemeanor block attending nursing school

Hi all,

In 2012 there was an incident with my ex son-in-law in which he gave false reports to the police regarding my daughter and me in order to take custody of their son from my daughter. Both me and my daughter were given tickets for misdemeanor 3-the charges were bogus and dismissed once we told the DA the story.

Here's what the background check shows:

Count: 1

Misdemeanor 3 Harassment-strike/shove/kick

No plea

Dismissed by District Attorney

No conviction

No trial

So, does anyone know if this will stop me from continuing on into nursing school?
