Will this affect my processing time for boards?

Hi everyone, I have a question as I am about ready to submit my paperwork to the Board of Registered nursing. I recently found out that I have two first names to my name and have had to change many of my legal documents. After changing all of my legal documents, I found out that my old CNA license still has just the original first name involved. I wanted to ask if this is going to affect the processing of my paperwork, since I really don't know what to expect. As for changing my name on my CNA license, I may be able to do that but I just think that processing might take much longer. Anyway, what do you all think?

I also want to add that on the paperwork, I added my original name as an alias just in case- but still, I want to rest assured ! :(

Thank you so much !!

Does your state require NA certification in order to apply to become a nurse? Mine does not.

In my state, NAs are certified and Nurses are licensed.

As nurse applicants, all of our names must match. As well as our drivers license name and address and the name and address we give the board when we apply.

HTH!

Hello, I live in California and all of my documents do match, except for that cna license. It is not required when applying but they do ask if I have any other certifications, so I labeled cna as one of them. However I did put an alias down, if that helps at all.

i just want to also clarify that the original first name on my cna license is one of the two first names that I currently have.

I am not sure but I would list it as a previous name. As long as your DL/passport name matches what you will put down as your name when you apply for your exam. Also, cna's will be issued a certification not a license...and the board of rn does not keep track of cna stuff
