Goodluck to everyone including myself, and let's keep eachother updated. May 4th is around the corner... Blessings to all ! 🙌🏽😉

@sajid, I called, but I didn't get an answer. I am so tired of stalking my e-mail. I wish they let us Know, so I can make arrangements with my job if accepted.

I have plan B that I enrolled chemistry and psycology class for summer term. I have a good gpa 3.79 and teas overall 65%. If I am accepted in Nursing then I will drop the class for chem and psyco.

I took chem and psy already. I took all the classes I need for my RN. I plan on going to resurrection university for their LPN to BSN program; as a result, I basicly took all of their reqiure classes.

If I don't get into Wright I am going to apply to Resurrection. I pray I get accept at wright first because it's my plan A.

You got a good score so you should get acceptance letter. If not then they have something wrong going on their ...

Hi Lovetobe,

Resurrection University unfortunately does not offer a LPN-BSN program. They only offer the BSN program, which I think is very nice program because it is accelerate. However, as a private university it cost a lot of money. I just wanted to let you know that they dont offer LPN to BSN, I just was talking to the advisor last week, because I tougth it may be nice if I can transfer some nursing classes there. Unfortunately you can't. However, you can apply for the BSN directly. Good luck to you!

do you know her who received email or its just via via news

Hi Sajid3786,

I don't know her, but the person who told me is a very reliable source. I can waranty she is not lying to me. I wish to know that person who received the e-mail to ask about which day will be the orientation, and what additional information it e-mail contain. Unfortunately, the only information that I have is that someone already received the acceptance e-mail. The only think we can do is to wait and nothing more. I actually went today to humbolt park to ask, but they don't were specific with the date that those e-mails will be send. The only think they said is "be patient, we hope this comming week the e-mails will be send, the nursing departament is still reviewing files." I also asked to an academic advisor about the reading score, what they told me is "don't worried if it is not least than 50% you should be fine." However, this is what an advisor told me, I think the ones who actually review all the files and grades and all the stuff are the people from nursing. Honestly, until we don't receive the actual letter we probably will be assuming and thinking about this. If it is meant to be for us will be not matter what. keep that in mind. For now, we just have to be patients and see what happens.

Hey guys,

Does anybody knows how many spots are available for the LPN?

I keep checking my email. I have completed 226 227 and microbiology and just finished the Cna program this semester at wright and I got an A on the class and A in the clinicals.Hopefully we ALL get in and they email us soon!

Hi Yini711,

I am a CNA from Wrigth College, and they never put a grade in the system for a clinical class or a CNA class. It shows in your transcrip as a "Basic CNA certification" the same thing with the clinicals. It is good that you have that. I know they are planning in the future make this certification as another pre-req to get into the program. However, the only think they will be able to see in your file is that you are a CNA, they are unable to see the grade you have. Well, at least that is my undestanding, and that is what I see in my official transcrips. But, again is a good thing that you have that, it looks good when applying to any nursing school.

Actually now you are given a grade and it counts towards your GPA 2 credit hours for clinicals and 6 for the class. We are the first CNA class to have this count towards grade and gpa as well. So im extremely happy about that since it help raise my gpa even more

It shows both the grade and credits earn on my grade history report. My instructor did explained how this was never done before that we are the first. I got lucky joined at the right timeí ½í¸Š

Yini711,

Lucky you!!!! There are 8 credits on total...absolutely will raise your GPA.....Ok now I undestand, it is new to me, but I can see that because the City Colleges are making a lot of changes. I took my CNA long time ago and thats why mine does not reflect a grade and does not count in my GPA, at that time I will probably had an A too because I really enjoyed the class. Any ways in my opinion is good to have that. I hope we know about the LPN this comming week!
