Why do you want to be a nurse?

My friend who is a Education Ph.D went to the nursing school a few years ago because of the attractive salary as a R.N. I have some hard feeling when I heard that. I know it is the truth but it is still disappointing.

what about you guys?

I want to be a nurse for many reasons. First I really think that it suits my personality and I tend to be very technical in everything I do. Also, the wages and job security don't hurt:) I also look forward to working the 7pm to 7 am shift and taking my kids to school and being around to pick them up. Soooo many good reasons!
