For those of you who have interviewed for your nursing program, what was your answer when the interviewer asks you, "So why should we choose you over another student for our program?" I don't have any hospital experience and whatnot, so basically I'm forced to list skills that I have that many other applicants might have too. I just need some ideas. Thanks!
Tell me about yourself is more generic. They want you to talk about who you are, not why you'd be a good candidate for nursing school. The trick is to talk about yourself but still make yourself look like a good candidate. I talked about being a mom, wife, marathon runner. The first two were just about choices I've made, but the last one shows my dedication to my sport, which is a bonus for nursing school.
