Why I should become a nurse. I am considering becoming a nurse but not sure if it is the right job for me. Can anyone tell me why they chose the profession and what it is like? Thank you.

I feel that I should become a nurse because as a person I have the right qualities. I am caring,empathetic,hardworking and kind. All of these qualities make a good nurse. I love taking care of people and I think that nursing is a hard but very rewarding job. I would love help save someones life someday, That would be a much bigger reward than any amount of money.

I chose nursing because I want to make a change to someone's life. Since the age of 13, all i have thought of doing in the further was Nursing and now doing PLC nursing I love it even thought it means i have to woke up really early. My leaving cert brought me down and then I thought of changing my mind but When i got accepted in Marino College of EF, I told myself " this is my chance''. I have all the qualities a nurse needs and the personality. I feel i am suited to work in a Hospital. I find Nursing very interesting and challenging but I love a challenge because it makes me work hard to get to the end.
