Why should we chose you over the other students?

How would you answer this question? I want to say that because "I am dedicated, hard working, etc..." But won't most applicants say that? Thanks everyone...

I think that you should be honest with them when you go in, but also tell them how you feel. You are hardworking and dedicated and you feel as if you have a lot to offer of yourself and would like to get into school to show this to them.

Let your potential shine and be open and honest and you'll do great!

I would start with saying that I am dedicated and hard working, and also that you are a RN student and you would really appreciate the chance to work as a CRNA while attending school as it will help to further expand your knowledge and help you better when you graduate school.

The best way to go about it is to be yourself and answer honestly.

I have to say- most hospitals are eager to hire nursing students- b/c this way your foot is in the door when you graduate and they can offer you a position after graduation. Its in their advantage as well b/c you will know the hospital already.

Good luck in getting your CRNA! I think working while going to school helps so much, and you can always practice skills on patients, not just in clinical.

I was a student nurse aide during school and I learned so much, that it really eased the transition into RN for me quite well.

I think LearningRN was talking about getting into CRNA school, not working as a CNA while in undergraduate nursing school.
