Who's leaving nursing?

Just wondering if anyone else is actively leaving or contemplating leaving the profession altogether. If so, I'm also curious as to what other fields/careers you're pursuing. I'm seriously considering returning to school to get my master's in library science. Anyone else in similar circumstances??

Cath, could you instead work on interviewing for CM or UR for a large insurer? It would be an office job. You would have M-F day schedule (8 hr) your experience would be wanted. You would have benes, etc.

Thanks for the suggestion! I will keep the insurance job in mind. I think a break is long due . . . I've had no extended breaks other than maternity leave for my kids! It's nice that we can all connect and vent here.
