Hello everyone! Accepted to New Horizons Regional Education Center and classes start Sept. 2008. Has anyone gone through this 18-month LPN program? If so, how was it? They have day and night class. I'm enrolled in the evening class 530-10pm Mon-Thurs. Traveling from the Beach to Hampton is going to be tough with the traffic:eek:. Gotta go to my part-time now.
Thanks,
Stephanie:chuckle
Hey there,Stephanie, just curious as to how school is working out for you. I went on to the New Horizons Regional Education Center website and left there a little confused. It sure is limited on information - guess I just need to call. I'm still shopping around for the right school and wanted to pick your brain.
thanx - siouXz
new horizons is exactly what I expected. If you know what your purpose is then you should not have to worry. I believe we have all new instructors for the evening class now. Some people have struggled but if you really want...then nothing else matters. The last 4 months have been interesting and exciting. A/P is very interesting but alot. You can get burned out from like we are right now only because we at the end. (STarting Pharmacology next week and Fundamentals...yeah the fun stuff)
Make a decision and just go for it.

i just graduated from new horizons of may 2008. just be prepared to do a lot of self study.
True but what programs or classes that we take in college, community college or vocational school that isn't a self study? People need to stop thinking that instructors are suppose to give you all that you need in the class. You the student have a responsible as well. It could have been your instructors.....I'm not sure. But all in all....It's working out.
Take care.:heartbeat

Well school is starting back on Monday half of me is excited and other half is apprehensive because the first half of class had a lot of drama and we went through 2 teachers. I am going to buckle down and be hopeful that all will go well and with the help of the Lord myself and all class mates will do fine.
