Whom to address on my cover letter

Help please,

I am applying for a nurse technician in a hospital.What is the proper address I have to put in my cover letter? Is Human resources Manager the right one?Since I have no specific name to address,I want to make this thing in the right way.

I am hoping someone out there will have time to help me on this.

You should make every effort to find out the names of both the HR manager (or recruiter) and the nurse manager of the unit for which you're applying. You'll have a better chance if you address it to a specific person.

I just go on line and saw an opening on a nurse tech job.

Anyway, I'll see if I can get their names.

It's an hour drive from us, so I hope they will entertain if I'll just call

and ask for the name.

The easiest thing to do is to call the HR department and ask. Just tell them that you're sending your resume to them and want to know to whom you should address it. While you're at it, ask for the name of the nurse manager of the floor where the opening is, too. The worst that they can do is tell you "no." But I doubt they will. Good luck!
