Has any one taken nursing at a vocational center or a careers institute instead of a university or a community college? (LPN or RN)
Do you feel that your education was up to standards? Any regrets, or did you find that it was a great place to attend school.
Is it harder to get a job because of where you attended school? I guess what I'm trying to find out is will you still get a great education at a careers institute or votech vs a college.

LPN programs can be found at vocational schools or career institutes.....
RN programs are either Diploma programs which are hospital based for the most part, ADN programs which are community college based, and the four year BSN which is based out of a four college or university.
I actually attended a Diploma program and had some of the best training that was ever offered.........but that was an RN program....and I have never had a problem with working anywhere.........
LPN programs are set up completely different..........
Anyone else have any info? Where I'm from you can take all the pre req's and PN at a college
