is medical terminology easier in class or online? which one did you do? i can not decide which one i want to go with....any suggestions will help thanks

I did medical transcription for five years before I entered my LPN program so I pretty much already had a leg up on the medical lingo. However, it was a required class for the LPN program. I took their final exam for the class to see if I could exempt it and passed so I didn't have to take the actual class.

Most of the students I knew did take it online. It seemed to be one of the easier classes to take online, as everyone I knew passed with either an A or a B. I guess my advice would be to think on it and see what your gut tells you to do. Certainly anything you CAN take online will free up some of your time. Just remember that when you take a class online you still need to block out periods of time to do your work. Don't ever wait until the last minute to work on an assignment. It is important to keep a steady pace and not fall behind. I am sure you will be just fine:)

Good luck to you and have a great day!

Did mine online. Got an A. Just need to be disciplined and selfmotivated if you have never taken an online class.

Mine was online and SUPER easy! As long as you make flash cards- it should be easy no matter what you take - since it is all about memorization verses understanding concepts.

I took Med Term on campus. I got an A. I've been an MA for years so I already knew quite a bit of it, but the flashcards really did help. I don't know about taking it online. For me sometimes online classes are harder just because there's so much more work like posting to discussion boards and stuff. Good luck I'm sure you'll do fine! :)
