I just found out that I will be able to take chemistry this fall at a convenient location near work, and I will also be taking anatomy at my regular school to keep my registration seniority.
Who has taken these classes together and gone well/gotten A's? Are there any tips you can offer? Luckily, my job has a lot of down time, so I will be taking advantage of that.
I took Chem and Anatomy in Spring of 2009. I got a 4.0 that semester. I basically studied all the time! Don't miss class, and don't fall behind. I had to say No to a lot of social engagements. I don't think there was any weekend that I did not study. Make sure to do problems over and over for Chemistry. For Anatomy, utilize the open lab time. It depends on your teacher, but learn how to study effectively. If your teacher goes by the book, make sure to know it inside out. You will be able to feel it out after your first exam. Good luck! You can do it.
I am currently taking Micro and A&P II at the same time, both with labs, it might actually be harder, not sure; I'm shifting between biologies.
Anyway, it's definitely doable to take Chem and A&P at the same time. It might get tough if you're taking any other work-intensive classes at the same time though...
