Who here is starting April 1?

Published

Hi guys. Just got my evaluation done today and has 37 credits to complete the RN-BSN program.

I graduated from Excelsior College so I am used to self-paced program.

I plan to finish in one year but hope to finish quicker. I finished Excelsior LPN-RN program in 9-10 months so I am hoping to finish this program in that time frame as well or maybe even quicker haha.

Is there anything I can do now to be prepared before April 1st comes?

Thanks!! [emoji41][emoji41]

I feel like I had a slow start, but I'm finally taking my COA OA tomorrow evening. How is everyone else doing 2 weeks in

Hi Everyone, I also started the RN to MSN April 1st. I had 33 credits transfer and 64 to complete. I'm having to take Gov first and hope to test out of it first of next week and then I take COA, then Stats, then BioChem. I'm doing the Management/Leadership track. I debated doing the Education track. What is everyone's thoughts on the different tracks? What are you planning to do after you get your degrees? Thanks so much! :)

I'm taking the Leadership track as well. So far I'm enrolled for COA, Health Assessment, Community Health and Population, then Biochemistry. I don't know where I'll end up with this degree, but starting out I my try my hand at being a clinical supervisor. We'll see though, what are your plans?

Hi! Thanks so much. I am really not sure where I will end up. I still enjoy bedside but I know I can't handle it forever :) I know the msn will help me with my options when I'm ready to move on. It looks like the tracks are very similar (only the last couple of classes are different I think). I hope to start COA next week. Best of luck! Jenn

Hi, Just wondering how everyone is doing so far. I passed Government and COA and am now looking at stats. I felt pretty good about it for a little bit and now it's starting to get overwhelming. I really want to just get through it and start on BioChem :) Anyone have any tips or advice on the courses they've completed already?

I did nutrition in two days. Watch the four videos under course search. She gives all the main things u need to know for the OA. Stats took me two full weeks of studying, there's just no other way to learn it. Do all the worksheets and did I get this section in course of study. I finished care of the older adult in three days. I am now in biochem and the tasks are tedious but the first out of five took me five hours ugh!!!!! How was government?????

Government wasn't that bad. Just study do the study guide. It would have been easier if I had remembered anything from high school but no such luck :) COA was a breeze. I actually took five days from when I took the PA to when I took the OA. I got a 71% on the PA without looking at any material. I tried to look over my weak areas, but I honestly think I could have passed the OA immediately. My friend is doing Bio Chem & has submitted two tasks so far with no issues (other than them being tedious). Good luck!
