I applied in the ED and the ICU. I cannot contact the managers directly unfortunately. So HR and the recruiter seem to be my only options. So I'm trying to figure out which of the two will be more willing to work with me and get me an interview. I just don't know enough about their jobs to know who usually has the most influence on the managers.

There is a community hospital that I did my clinical rotations at during school that is my dream hospital to work for. I loved the team, the doctors and everything about it. HR does not seem to be very helpful in moving the application process along. I applied about 6 weeks ago, when I spoke to HR this morning they said they would send my information to the nurse recruiter. I was wondering if I should personally contact the recruiter to one, make sure my information was actually recieved. And two, to explain my interest and desire to work for their hospital. This is a position i'm willing to relocate 1.5 hours away for, so i'm extremely serious about working there. As I said, HR is not very helpful so should I contact the recruiter?
Just trying to do anything to get this position. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks :)
