Who else doesn't have or need nutrition class as their pre req?

Raise your right foot! lol tell me every school nursing program is different. I'm in HI and the 2 schools I'm looking into doesn't have nutrition on both their pre req or the whole list of courses. Am I the only one?

Nutrition wasn't a prereq at my school, but after you were admitted to the nursing program we had to take a required nutrition course just for nurses. If you don't have to take it and have any room in your schedule to add a class, nutrition should be at the very top of the list. My class was very easy and in the end very helpful. You will use a lot of what you learn in nursing and some NCLEX questions are nutrition related.

I transfered from a school that did not require for the bsn but I took it as a filler. The new school actually does have it I n their program but I cant transfer that credit in. Ive been told I can test out of it so ill probably do that. I dont want to spend anither term taking such an easy class.
