I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!! Getting all that dreadful paperwork in order for the deadline is finally making me realize that I am SOOOOO ready to dig in and see what this is all about....finally! I know what lies ahead is no comparison to all the pre-req's but heck I like science and I can't wait to interact with REAL patients! I can't wait to see my confidence build cos right now I am scared!:monkeydance:
I am taking a family vacation next week knowing it will be my last anything for just fun for months! Getting my house organized (so DH can run it) and finishing last minute projects that have been put off for far too long. And relishing my hands-on time with the kiddies cos too soon they will come to understand like it or not the statement: 'Mommy is studying right now.'

Oh I am so excited to finally start the program. I had to decline after I'd be accepted two years ago (family issues) and am now finally about to finish!!!! I also have children (6 yrs. old, 4 yrs. old and 9 months) I am nervous, excited, scared, and every other emotion all rolled into one!
I keep telling all of my family/ friends that they won't really see me for the next 2 years!!!:smackingf:bugeyes: But it will be so worth it in the end!
Good Luck to you and to everyone else!

I am excited also....I'm starting a 2nd degree program, and I have heard how hectic and crazy it is. But I've been aiming for this for so long, and now it's like I am finally reaching my goal, well starting to reach my goal. I'm very nervous, but I am very excited as well:)!

I too am starting this September. I am quite nervous and excited all in one! I have heard so many horror stories of the 1st year, then I have heard a few say that it was cake. So I guess I will not know until I get in on how I will react to it. I too am relishing my time with the kids, and trying to get things done around here that have been put off due to my hectic school schedule the past 2 semesters. I have every intent to do something special at least once a week with the kids, even if it means just camping in the backyard.
GL to you all!
