Just curious where people are taking their first nurse-midwife job?

I wont be done till next spring, but I am shadowing CNM's at the hospital I work at, they say it's all about networking and knowing people. I've contacted the CNM director of the hospital, and she is letting me do some of my clinical there. I start clinicals this fall. That gives me a better chance at getting hired there.

Not to hijack your thread, but recently I have seen quite a few CNM and NNP jobs in my area, so I'm hoping the job outlook only gets better in my area.
