"Essentials" of anything is always a smaller, condensed version. For the costs involved, I might want to get the "full" version. But then, maybe it is only wordier. If there is any way to compare the two in a bookstore, I would take a good look at both. I happen to have the Essentials Wong and as far as I'm concerned, it is good enough. Haven't seen the bigger version.

Which is the version that's recommended by this board? I see that there are two different Wong's books and wasn't sure which was better:
