Which study guide is best?

Hello, i am trying to find the best AT TEAS 6 exam study guide one with detailed explanations as ive forgotten alot of basic math stuff. When i went on amazon to look for study guides so many different ones, all offical looking came up. Can some of you PLEASE recomend a good study guide for version 6 that HAS explanations to the questions. Thanks ladies and gents

I studied from the official ATI Study Guide Sixth edition. I found the math section to be very useful in that book. The English section is also good. For science, I recommend studying from your notes from your prerequisites. I ended up getting 100 percent in math.

I felt like the ATI book for grammar and reading comp are trash. Literally did not help me at all but instead made it more confusing. I would go beyond then just using ATI products. These guys just monopolize the ATI study items because they make the test. It all comes down to you though

The mometrix ATI TEAS secrets study guide has more in depth explanations than the ATI manual. It also includes access codes to videos online where people explain the concepts.

If you use that in combination with Khan Academy i think it might help.

Good luck! :)

I have both ATI and mometrix and failed my test. Im in the same boat and need some tips about how to study for this test.

How did you prepare?

Specializes in OR.

I studied from the official study guide for the TEAS 5- the math is well explained in it.. i actually had trouble with the english

I used the ATI book, the ATI practice exams, and Keshwani's videos on Youtube. Felt like it was more than adequate! I struggle with math and Keshwani really explains things in a way that makes sense.

Hi Roasted.Peanuts, your scores are great and congrats on passing. Math was my weakest score on the test (word problems) and I missed it by two points without having any study material. I just purchased the ATI manual and scheduled to retake the test April 29th. What do you think was the most similar to the test from the manual or what would you recommend as a good source for understanding word problems? Thanks greatly appreciate your help!
