Check out chamberlain college of nursing they have a 3 year BSN track. If you have already done prerequisite it can cut nearly a year of that time off. But they are a bit more expensive than your adn or LVN programs. But the key with them is they are pretty flexible. I was told you can take the required amount of classes or only a single class per session. Their next start date is May 2

It was merely a suggestion. It by no means was meant to sway the OP to attend there over the other programs. But if for example the lower level prerequisite have been completed that amount is significantly reduced. That is the the choice I am going for. If you are a guarantee to get into either program I would go for the ADN and do a step-up for the BSN. But again for me I would only need 2 years for the BSN at chamberlain. That is the only reason I mentioned it.

Well with my bonus paying the full tuition at HCC or Lone Star I am only considering those two. I do have lower classes done but I refuse to go in debt when I don't have to. I'm not sure why or how another place that charges and exorbitant fee got in here. I only asked about two programs.
Hey girl I am planning on attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Houston Texas. I plan to start in September, 2016. I will have all the extra courses that are in the program and will only need to take my nursing classes. Give me a call we can chat 8325121524 or email me [email protected]

I live in Houston and have a school dilemma. I can go to HCC for LVN starting August 2016 through August 2017. Otherwise start the ADN at Lone Star in January 2017 through June 2018. Conventional wisdom says ADN but I really want out of the restaurant business. My next bonus this June will pay for either tuition, books and fees in full. But after that, I'm not interested in my current job. 14 hrs a day 5-7 days a week are no fun. After two decades + I'm done.
The only rationale for the LVN is a bridge program and sooner out of my job. I'm also trying to maximize my time with my family and 60+hrs weekly aren't doing that.
