Littman Cardiology III! I love it and I use it when I triage patients in my ER (I'm a medic). I use my lightweight for clinicals though because I do not want to lose it. Make sure you get it engraved though and keep it on you at all times. You never know who may steal it. I recommend watching and looking closer to Black Friday. Medisave had them for like 10 or 15% off with free engraving and it was the cheapest I had seen them. Nurses Week is usually a good time too but I didn't scope out the prices this year.
The one day I forgot it for class I couldn't believe how little I could hear with their scopes.

Hi everyone,
I'm starting my Senior year and I'll have Critical Care/OB/Peds. By the end of school, my main interest is to work in ER or Peds. My main concern is that the stethoscope I have now (Sprague $20), I can't really hear lung sounds and heart sounds very well. I'm kind of hard of hearing unfortunately. I also need a stethoscope that I can hear lung/heart sounds very very well. I'm deciding to upgrade to a Littman (My friend let me use hers for a day and I LOVED it!).
My main question: Which Littman stethoscope should I get for the long run, hearing and unit wise? How long should I expect it to last (the wear and tear)?
Thank you for taking the time to read this!
