I am a new grad and just landed a job in a childbirth center. I am looking to invest in an infant stethoscope of my own. Any ideas on which is best?

You can search Amazon for choices; Littman is probably the best--and most $$-, but others work just fine.
You may want to get a pediatric size instead of a neonatal. I think it's easier to hear the HR on those squirmy term babes.
Good Luck!!

I ditto prmenrs' suggestion...pedi scopes are better for hearing stuff in a term kid. We have some infant/neo scopes but I've only found them useful for use in 34-35 weekers and/or IUGR kids.

Personally, I love UltraScopes in all sizes. They were originally designed for field use and you can hear through layers and layers of clothing and blankets, etc. I just love 'em. I have 3 Littman of varying cost and size and never use them. Just an opinion. I know most nurses (and Docs) hold Littman as the gold standard. I just don't agree.
Hi Elvish...When I said I'd "Sell 'ya for cheap" I wasn't really offering. Just an expression to convey how little esteem I give the product. Sorry...D
