I need an art and science elective and humanity to take. I was going to take it with excelsior, which do you refer if you have taken them already? Thanks!!

Have you considered CLEP? Here is a link from their page, showing the various exams, and number of credits, that Excelsior College will accept. Hope this helps!

The exam fee is $77 (may have had a recent increase to $80), and the facility that you choose to administer the test has its own fee. I went to National American University and they charged $20. The CLEP site has a lot of good information!

Wow, don't realize they were that much less than excelsior. Do you know how the clep exams transfer over to excelsior. Does it automatically transfer or do we have to get the transcript sent? Thanks again for the info!

VERY affordable! When you fill out the info on the computer the day of the test, you specify Excelsior to have the transcript sent. That one is included in the price of the test. Afterward, they give you a form with your score and instructions for additional transcript requests, which is $20. They will keep your results for 20 years. It really is a great way to get credits... I may do a few more!
