I need some help ASAP... I want to start my BSN however I am finding it really hard to get good info on an accredited program! Which accreditations are best etc. I'm wanted to do this all completely online! Thank you for your help!

As long as the program has national nursing accreditation through either the CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or the ACEN (Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing), you'll be fine. I'd also pick one with regional accreditation so all credits will be transferable in the future.
In general, the online BSN programs offered at reputable brick-and-mortar schools (UT Arlington, Indiana State University, Vanderbilt, Loyola, University of Wisconsin, etc.) tend to have both the national nursing accreditation and the regional accreditation, so you cannot go wrong with these types of schools.
Thank u so much!!! What about nationally? Would that fall under ancc? I'm looking into IUS... But the cost for this is so crazy!!! I'd like to spend/borrow as little as possible :-/
National nursing accreditation = ACEN (Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing) or the CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education).
Thanks for the clarification! It an be so confusing! :)

Some for profit schools are brick and mortar, as in buildings, dorms etc.. and accredited such as Grand Canyon University. :)
But my point remains the same: a person still cannot go wrong with an online program at a nonprofit school that has a reputation as a land-based college.
Yes, this is very true. Also, University of Phoenix and Chamberlain are commercial-owned, for-profit schools with brick-and-mortar campuses. But my point remains the same: a person still cannot go wrong with an online program at a nonprofit school that has a reputation as a land-based college.
Actually that is not true. They do not have true campuses. They have "classrooms" but do not have a ground campus. I cannot speak for Chamberlain, but I don't think they have dorms, etc. GCu has sports teams that actually play some of the private schools in my neck of the woods. I actually thought about attending a few. :)
OP, I too sought a quality program with a ground campus. Having someplace I could go visit and be a part of the campus/university life was important to me.
Good luck in your journey. :)

I am about to finish up at Grand Canyon University and have had a pleasant experience. I am in the process of applying to FNP programs and haven't had a problem with credit transfer and such. Id highly recommend it:)
