I thought for sure I was gonna get at least a B... welp, almost failed! (you need a 78 or better to "pass." Anything below is failing.)
I felt kind of good because a majority of the class did not make the 78% mark... but there were also students in another group who had an average of 86 or better... I found out why because they were tested on different material than we were. Like they did pharm first and we did communication and teaching and learning first.
So something's telling me that this next test should be easier. I also didn't know how to "study" for these tests, and now that we've went over the test, I can change my studying accordingly... I've noticed that almost all our questions come from the book so I'm going to do that and the fact that tests count for nearly 94% (3 are 18%, final is 40%) of our cumulative grade factors in to how I will study too.
I plan on cutting out reading for the labs and just watching the vids and focusing all my major study time to the lecture material.
Just had to let this out.

Well, how did you study this time?
During fundamental nursing, I used Fundamental Success as my main study tool. My school test using NCLEX style questions and this helped me learn how to play the game so to speak. There are usually 2 that I can cross off right away. Or I look for whats wrong with the answer and not the right answer
I studied from notes, my lecture, the NCLEX review book they supplied us and the ATI references that they also provided.
A lot of sources but they mainly pulled from one so...

I get what you are saying but where they pull from can change from test to test, but the justification for the answer will be from whatever is the "official" text for the class. Atleast that has been my experience. Just when we thought we figured it out, they changed it. Thats why the practice questions worked for me. I was able to get the overall concept and figure it out.
