Where are W/C CM jobs in TN or anywhere?

Specialties Case Management

Listmates,

I have 10+ years in work comp CM, 5 yrs of LCPing experience and cannot find a job. I have applied for numerous jobs in insurance CM as well as other types of CM and no interviews. I did interview for a shot clinic job against 25 RNs-no health benefits at all and I did not get the job. I need to find a job and cannot work in a hospital due to rheumatoid arthritis and immunosuppression. Any suggestions? Is my 2 years of independent contracting experience hurting me? i don't want to ever work for myself again-too hard to collect the money from the insurance companies and attorneys.

Thanks for any advice, insight....

I just saw a job for a WC casemanager job in TN with Cigna/Intracorp. It's only part time though...but who knows....may turn into full time? Here's their website:

http://careers.cigna.com/

Also, I know that Bunch & Associates is hiring for FT TCMs and you can live anywhere. My friend in CA was just offered at job at $70k. Their website is:

http://www.bunchcare.com/

The only catch is you have to train in Florida for 2 weeks.

Hope that helps!

Lynn,

The Cigna job is in Memphis and I am in NAshville, but the Bunch and assoc looks like a good prospect, so I fill out their online app this weekend. If anyone else hears of anyone hiring W/C case managers, please reply to this post or PM me. Thanks!

Lynn,

Remember some of these companies have there HUB in another city or state but if you work from home it does not matter. Cigna/Intracorp has some good home based jobs but most require some field work, they do have several office based CM jobs. They are a good company and pay well. Also look into GENEX, pay is not as good but a lot of opportunities.

Specializes in Clinical Risk Management.

Check out Blue Cross' website: http://www.bcbst.com They have positions all over the state. I saw a few that specifically requested case management experience.

Good luck to you!
