Where are students from San Antonio college geting their BSN?

Published

Hello,

I will be applying to the SAC nursing program for the spring of 2013and plan on getting my bachelors while I am working as and RN. I would like to know where are the ASN credits from San Antonio college transferrable to whether it be online or in person. I wanted to apply to UTHSC but I would have to wait until FAll 2013 and I simply can't. I need a job asap. Any advice or information is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I am applying to Texas Tech for the spring start the fall deadline has already passed but you can finish in two semesters vs the traditional 12-18 months everywhere else.

I am starting nursing school spring 2013 and have the same plan, I have 7 prerequisite classes for the Texas Tech rn-bsn program that I am taking while doing nursing school. 4 of those, I can clep out of. So really, I only need 3 classes, which doesn't seem too difficult since we can't go to school during the summer. I am enrolled in my art credit this semester and will study for and take the 4 cleps over the summer, then the last two classes my final summer before graduating in December of 2014.

Sorry, that is very detailed, but I feel that is the most efficient way to get the bachelors quickly. Let me know if you hear of another route!

Moved to Texas State Nursing Programs for more response.

SAC's nursing program has a 1+2+1 BSN program now. They will be implementing starting fall 2013. You can get the BSN in 2 semesters. It's on the nursing program website.
