Where to start apply to nursing school?

I live in Fresno, CA, and I don't where to start applying for nursing programs because I don't know if there is any good private nursing colleges in close to Fresno to get an B.S.N. fast. I heard about Samuel Merritt college but I have no idea if it's a good college or not? I don't want to wait too long for the nursing program at Fresno City College because they do lottery to get in. Please let help!:no:

I personally don't know of any school, private or public, where you can "get a BSN fast".......are you looking for an accel program for second degree candidates? Or do you not have a previous degree?

I just want to share that my "fast BSN" accelerated program of 12 months was really a ten year program...4 years for my first degrees and 5 years of night school pre-reqs before I even crossed the threshold of nursing school.

I can't think of a quick way to become a BSN. Do you already have a degree? Then accelerated programs might be for you. Do know that all programs have pre-requisites and these differ for every program. I'd strongly recommend contacting some nursing programs and seeing what they require...it couldn't hurt you to take 'Anatomy and Physiology' while you look.
