How much say so does she ultimately have in what I do?
I'm getting tired of her remarks about us RN's.
I didn't take this job to come in and do chart audits all day with my nose to the grindstone and help her tie up loose ends on her paperwork until the break of day.
I thought this job would offer independence and flexibility.

I would ask for a copy of the company chain of command/organization chart. Should be a copy in your orientation information/if you got one. If there isn't one check on the b-boards at work or ask your DON/Administrator.
I have seen some office managers be responsible for anything related to the "paper tiger" in home health and others have nothing to do with those duties.
