Well, I am out here in Phoenix, Arizona. There are so many opportunities in the hospitals and medical places, that are just waiting for applicants. This doesn't include the facilities that are in the process of being built. The "suburbs" are combined with it's neighboring suburb, creating a hugh area. You are definately not alone here. Just a thought. By the way, you can't beat the winters, they are perfect.

I'm trying to brainstorm places I could move after graduation... Any ideas? I'm interested in being in a city (no suburbs). Political & social climate is important to me, I'd like a city leaning a little to the left that is a bit more progressive than the southern US I hail from. The bay area in Cali was an obvious choice, until I realized that the 'nursing shortage' applies more to experienced nurses.
Also equally important is new grad compensation and job availability for new grads.
So... Where do you live? What do you make? How hard was it to get a job as a new grad?
Thanks
