My fiance and I relocated to the East Bay a few months ago for his job and I am struggling to find work. I have one year of inpatient float pool experience and 5 months of outpatient oncology experience coming from the Chicago area.
I'm looking for advice that anyone can give on ways to find a job here or where to look! I have submitted over 50 applications to Kaiser, Sutter, JohnMuir, and some other smaller companies with no luck. Also looked at some travel nursing job posts I have seen but do not have 2 years of experience to qualify.
Yes, thank you! I pour over Indeed every day! I stopped trying with Kaiser - that's like the ivy league of hospitals out here and it feels impossible to get an interview! I will look more at LinkedIn as well. Unfortunately, I don't have the experience to travel unless I want to do home health (blah). I'm trying to get an inpatient gig. I will keep trying!
