Where do I apply for IV certification here in Manila?

Hi to all! I would like to ask if anyone knows how to go about the IV certification here in Manila? Sorry if this has been posted already, I can't seem to find a similar topic with the search function. Responses are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hello. Delos Santos Hospital will conduct IV therapy on Oct. 4,5,6. The registration fee is 2,000.

Thanks kingmig, where can I register for it? If I attend that seminar will that certify me & allow me to perform IV therapy in our local hospitals? Thanks again!

Another question, how do I get licensed for IV therapy by ANSAP? Do I have to first attend IV therapy seminars befor getting licensed? I'm kinda confused. Please reply anyone, thanks!!!

what is this IV certification? is this your IV insertion? Do nurses insert PICC lines? What's in it to be certified for? or are they teaching different IV bags from .9 to D5.45 or D10, TPN possibly? Isn't these were all taught in nursing school? Really, it's no brainer to learn IV bags..nobody should be teaching us these at all, it's kinda an insult. If this is one of the requirement to get a job in Manila, do you actually use it? I thought nurses in the Philippines are not allowed to start an IV except in ER? and rarely in ICU? ..I still think that we as nurses should focus on continuing education e.g prevention and treatment for CVA, MI's, DM etc.., know it's pathophysiologies and even evidence based practices..does anybody offer these kind of classes?

They call it an IV therapy license which is given by ANSAP. I think it was adapted just a few years ago. I'm really not quite sure how to go about it that's why I'm asking questions about it on my previous post. Yes I have the same sentiment, I don't know why we need to have this when it should be understood that we already took this up in nursing school. If anyone can further enlighten us about this please do. Thanks.
