Trying to get a better understanding as to why MDs order one tube feed formula vs another. Same with supplements (Prosource, Beneprotein)
High protein vs Nepro vs Isosource... I can never predict which one my patients is gonna get and I feel like this is basic info. What are the benefits of each? What vitamins/supps do they contain and which patient populations is one indicated for, and why? Can't find a super helpful website so far. Anyone know of a site or source? Or can share your knowledge/experience on this? I have asked other nurses on my unit but there are only guesses.
