try tennessee. lpn still work in all healthcare facilities. we do ivs here so if you're not iv certified then you will have to take a course for that here, most hospitals will arrange one for you. cost of living is low here so you will make less than up northeast but still a good living for down here. hope this helps!

Hello my fellow nurses. I am a new grad LPN. Graduated school in Sept 2011. Have had my license since December 2011. Still no job. I live in New Jersey..The market here has been really tough, especially with the way the economy still is. Aside from that, having been born and raised in nearby NYC, I crave to leave the Northeast! I want to live and work someplace where there a good amount of LPN jobs, and a lower cost of living. I am a single mom of an almost 5 year old and I don't want to continue to raise her up here. I'm also sooo tired of the really cold weather and the ridiculous rents! My question is, where can I move to (preferably east coast) that has jobs available for LPN's, warmer weather, and decent cost of living?? Does this place even exist??? I have experience as a medical assistant and a phlebotomist so I am open to working in doctor's offices as well. Where should I go??? Any suggestions would be sooo appreciated!! Thanks!!!
