I know insurance company positions sometimes allow u to work from home however they have a long list of requirements . I currently have 1 year experience in inpatient psych . Any chance I would even be considered for one of these job?? If not , what can I do to make myself more marketable for a job like this. Thanks in advance

Are you a licensed RN?
Yes I am Rn with a bsn
Just asking because of your username. Most work-at home insurance jobs require a few years experience. There may be work as a case manager for psych /mental health once you have 3-5 years experience.
Ok thanks. I always see posting for medical surgical cases or hospice but not usually psych guess I will have to look into it.

Some insurance companies offer this type of job, however more and more of them are downsizing and asking them to become case managers and work in the field as travel or home care nurses. Is there a reason you would like to leave? What about gaining med surg experience?
