Where can I take a 2cr math class to satisfy excelsior credit?

Published

I just talked with excelsior and asked where can I take a 2 credit math course that will satisfy their math requirment. They told me I had to enroll first before they can give out any advice..but I really want to satisfy all of my gen. eds before enrolling.

Does anyone know where I can take a simple 2 credit online math class? Im alright in math, but algebra is really difficult for me.

I also need 3 credits for humanities..so Im considering taking an art thruough my CC..what did everyone do to satisfy their humanities? Art history and Ethics seem so boring..

I would check with Straighterline -- http://www.straighterline.com -- a lot of people have used their courses (like A&P) to satisfy EC requirements. Or have you asked EC about using a CLEP exam? http://clep.collegeboard.org/exam -- they have a "college mathematics" CLEP that is math for non-math-majors. Not sure if EC accepts this one as the mathematics requirement is new too EC's curriculum, but CLEP would be the least expensive option if they'll take it. Good luck, and let us know what you decide!

Try Edukan Or Aleks. Check first to see if EC will accept them. A lot of people are doing thier classes on there and transferring them.
