Published

Could anyone please tell me a great place to work in Atlanta Ga? I am in Az.I have been a nurse for 8month in med surg floor.I really want to move to Atlanta, Ga.Do you have any suggestion on where is a great place to work..where the management is great (team work)?I really would like to live in the east side of Gorgia, but it doesn't matter....I need to find a job .Please help.

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.
I also know that the only level I trauma centers in atlanta are AMC and Grady, so I honestly am still trying to make a decision. I feel torn because I definitely want that level I trauma experience, but I want a nurturing and team work atmosphere as well. (I'm being super picky!) Lol

Bear in mind that clinically, there is typically little difference between what you will see at a Level 1 vs. a Level 2. The big difference is that Level 1 facilities are often doing research and have physician residents, which has more impact on the medicine side of the house, not nursing. Don't discount the Level 2 facilities if you really want to consider all your options. Good luck! :)

That is a very valid point! Definitely changes my perspective on things! Thank you!
