So Alberta nurses, when do you think Alberta Health Services will start having some nursing posting that will be open to the public to apply for? What is your best guess???

Dr Duckett has an open-ended contract with built-in bonuses for meeting certain ill-defined and difficult-to-measure criteria but which all boil down to saving money. He has contracted out security services, is planning to centralize payroll and human resources and "transform" the health care workplace into a well-oiled machine using a manufacturing business model. Since this Care Transformation Initiative is still all on paper, and no one has made any attempts to stage a coup d'etat, it's probably going to be measured in years and not months.

He's waiting for those in the system to die in harness.
There is the odd posted position open to the public but it's usually casual or on a unit nobody wants (and we all know what that means).
Anybody go to the meet Duckett meetings this week. UofA early in the week, RAH today?
